I recommend keeping it simple and using the default devices, no VSTs. There's a ton of presets you can use. If you have an instrument and it sounds a bit plain, make sure to stack instruments to make them fatter, you can use the instrument layer for that >>12351891

If you want, open one of the demo projects and poke around with it. The Solo and Mute buttons are your friend, try turning stuff off, playing with knobs, moving notes around, you'll get a hang of it in no time. But yeah, there is a bit of knowledge required. You can definitely pick up some of that knowledge on YouTube, or if you're like me, by just fucking around with stuff

Careful with the volume, figs. This is made from vsti 8 bit sims, so it is a touch harsh. I tried to tame them, but it is still Comadore, GaymBoy, Atari sounds and an old school computer voice simulator. Harsh. For anyone interested those vsti are Speak (speakosaur) and Icecream by Cosmicboy and you can find them on free vst sites.
