hello is 3D print anon here?
i have a question

>>12656729
What is it?
>>12656908
oi what about a Anycubic Kobra 3 V2 with the uhhhh drying system of them
>>12656908 wasn't me but im happy to see other enthusiastic user lel.

>>12656929
from what i have heard that one is a improved clone of the ender 3 v2 which is very popular but also a cheap piece of shit. i wasn't following the market for a while but it looks nice and it seems that it runs klipper by default which is very nice. How much is it going for?
its not improved by a little but by a lot actually damn. unless you find sources that say its a fire hazzard like other printers sometimes are i don't see a reason not to get it to be honest. and its not locked down like bambu lab printers >>12656970
uhh around le 300€
>>12656993
and without the fancy dryer it goes down to 230 i think. Its a fair price in my opinion but note that the expensive dryer/multi material thing is not mandatory so only get it if you want to have the features it provides in the future.

is drying/preheating the filament just a hoax?
there is one brand new Kobra listed on ebay kleinanzeigen for 170 monerus

>is drying/preheating the filament just a hoax?
drying matters with some filaments but not with all. if you are mainly interested in "fun" prints and not engineering parts then you mostly print with PLA which doesn't care about moisture. You can also use a oven or something to dry filament if its temperature control is accurate enough. But some other filaments are so sensitive that they need a dryer even during printing and not just before it, yes, but not a 100 euro one. that is really expensive and apparently it doesn't even get as hot as some cheaper options.
>there is one brand new Kobra listed on ebay kleinanzeigen for 170 monerus
what sorta cobra? There are a couple models in that lineup.
>>12657004
or is it the same model? wait im a little slow sometimes
also look into if that printer relies on the dryer for its multicolor prints or not. i know that with other printers it does but it looks like the Kobra 3 V2 has some sort of built in thing so please check. >>12657006
thank you for your help c:
>>12657009
always double and triple check please. lots of online reviews are actually ads and i am a single person. like somebody else pointed out there is a general on /diy/.

However if the printer works out of the box as advertised then i think that 230 bucks for a new is a very good price even if it doesn't do multicolor in that case.

You can't 3D print cocaine
and never buy no-name filament! you waste more time in unclogging and reprinting than the time you need to earn 5 more bucks for a proper product. You guys are gey lole >>12657010
>>12657012
there is all kinds of crazy filament i have seen online there is even a glow in the dark one lole
>>12657015
there is also stuff that foams up when printed and is all lightweight and soft. and others have metal in them and can rust and stuff. just double check if you can print them or if you need a new nozzle. these glow in and dark and many other special filaments are very abrasive and will destroy brass nozzels in no time.

>>12657024
gotta do annoying post-processing :(
>>12657018
foam is like $90 a roll, metal sintering is a whole other thing and glass and carbon fiber filament is not only expensive but takes an enclosure. wood filament is a meme. nobody is going to accidentally print something that rusts lol, don't be stupid.

>>12657028
you absolutely do not need to post process. also where is this magical bronze filament

>>12657015
glow in the dark is nice. not all glow filaments are created equal
>>12657473
>you absolutely do not need to post process
well for the bronze filament you do but in general no that is correct. I was talking about the bronze filament stuff. and the foam stuff is 20 bucks for 750g. Both the foam and the bronze filament you can find on colorfabbs website.
and where did i say that random prints will rust? We were talking about the more special filaments like glow in the dark and stuff like that. I thought everybody was on the same page.
