tonight i had pasta for dinner. i am trying to find good superhero comic books to read. i like comic books but havent read too many superheroes. a few punisher runs, some batmans, 2 or 3 hawkeyes, supermans and deadpools mixed in there not much. when i was a kid i read the original 1960s spider-man because they came free with coupon books in the mail. spider-man fought electro for a few issues then vulture for a bit but i dont remember much. i was like 7. anyway, i am wondering what superhero comics you would recommend? i dont trust /co/.

wise move, you can be sure they'd recommend something terrible that they'd convinced themselves was great simply because it was obscure

Watchmen is pretty good, and I like the Sandman comics too. I don't read a lot of comics lol

Your fortune: Very Bad Luck

forgot the part where they never actually read it

Your fortune: キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!

lole

lole is exactly the level of literary analysis i expect from a man who had pasta for dinner at 2am

anyway op if you liked punisher/batman tier stuff read:

- daredevil by frank miller (gritty but actually good)
- daredevil by bendis (even more miserable, in a good way)
- immortal hulk (body horror but still capeshit)
- ultimate spider-man (since you read 60s spidey as a larva, this is the zoomer remix but solid)

also if you want something that feels “superhero” without 900 issues of baggage:
- all-star superman
- batman: the long halloween

ignore anyone who recommends something “underrated” drawn by a guy who only illustrates feet. they are lying to you.
