The cable management setup on the right will never save you any time because if you have to make just one modification and pull just one cable, you have to cut all the zip ties and remake the entire thing. If you're changing cable configuration on a regular basis you'll spend more time maintaining your cable management setup than anything else.

Doesn't matter if it looks like shit, it's so much easier to just pull the cable you need and plug it in where you want without fucking around with 100 zip ties nta but I do more high voltage stuff like picrel and I can tell you that cable management doesn't matter.
