tonight I had chicken fingers for dinner. the new star wars is perfectly fine. i saw the jetpack spaceman blow stuff up, the green baby ate weird stuff and there were fun aliens. the story wasn't particularly clever but i didnt expect it to be. i see people saying it felt like 3 episodes of a TV show as a complaint. to be fair it does make the pacing weird, but it wasnt a problem for me personally. maybe ive just watched a lot of cartoons so my tolerance is higher. i dont know what people expected from the literal glup shitto movie based on a kids show. im not saying people shouldnt want thoughtful, well written movies; but this is like watching people ask for steak at a vegan restaurant. youre just not gonna find it here.
