isnt it kind of sad? shit is so bad that people are desperate to cling on to when things were better, to the point of doing a "meme reset" to try to capture and preserve some of the light from the past. but nothing will make those days come back, its just a cheap mockery thats not rooted in the sort of innocent sincerity that made old memes fun.

The memes these days aren't garbage. Although I don't think this trend will last long before the same old crap returns. it's funny because I remember hating every single one of those memes. I had friends shoving them in my face going "isn't this hilarious?" and now that everything is soyjaks and frogs and everybody has a pavlovian, knee-jerk political reaction to everything in existence, they actually seem quaint and nice
