People who did the same thing regardless of making a fool of themselves, that makes me feel even more shitty.

last year I started making normal Akko posts. Since 4chan is a site where pornographic images of her are abundant (and I've honestly never enjoyed her hentai), I had the (terrible) idea of exaggerating my dislike for it. For example, if someone posted Akko porn, I'd reply with 'STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE.'
Even though I don't like Akko hentai, I feel like that was the most contradictory and stupidly cringey, netorare-type way to make a big deal out of it. What I thought was an excellent way to stand out for loving Akko actually turned me into a gimmick poster, and I realized now there were better ways to show my appreciation without focusing on the porn.
When I saw another user doing the same thing on other social media platforms far removed from 4chan, I realized how stupid I was acting. I didn't want to be like those users who start pointless fights in every interaction, which only ends up escalating into the most outrageously sexual images of Akko—bordering on a weird sort of sexual humiliation for both the character and the user 'defending' her, just for attention. Since then, I've felt disgusted every time I see my old posts on 4pleb, and I wish things were different for someone who doesn't really do morbidly disgusting circuses. When someone dared them to do "something" (if you know what I mean) to a image of Akko, and they ended up doing it, these guys just commented "STOP FILLING AKKO WITH SEMEN," indulging their disgusting morbid curiosity, and others made memes about it. When I saw what had happened, I thought it was disgusting and in bad taste. That's one of the few examples of why I'm disgusted by my own posts from last year. I don't want to fuel that, but then I saw the other side of the coin: how people, instead of making a big deal out of it, just upload frames of their waifus, and the only interaction they have is greeting each other and wishing each other a good day.
