Dude, I I know y'all noticed this board has a namefag problem but like what is it specifically about this board that gets SO many people seeing it and instantly thinking I need to put on a name I need to spam every fucking thread on the front page. Like what is it about it is it because s4s is so slow? I mean you see it it move so damn slow and you think I can just spam this shit and ill get recognized I i''ll yeah I'll get fucking recognized these people will see my name every 5 seconds and know I'm there like what is the fantasy they're chasing I mean they never last long either it's like every week theres two three new guys putting on a nam they're teenagers they're all fucking teenagers they put on this name and they think let me just spam the fuck out of this board for like a week and then disappear. normally it's just 3 or 5 guys posting regularly
it sucks because i came to 4chan exactly for the idea of being in a place where everyone can discussing their own opinions without the need to seek attention and likes/karma
being somewhere where everyone is nameless and invisible is what made 4chan special on the first place and i feel like s4s is just not being s4s anymore
most newfigs just show up and instantly put a name and start blogging before they even get to know how to reply to a post or what catbox is
i think it's because images of bury have been showing up on instagram or pinterest and kids just go 'omg, its le edgy site 4chan but without mean people!'
and then they just crawl into here straight out of tiktok and act like this is some kind of social media
you can even see who they are even when they're not nameposting because they always try to be '""funny""" and attract attention while never actually contributing to whatever is being said on the thread they are replying to
