Shimakura news report: The Bloody Mary premiers tonight

The niche yet beloved Japanese 3D animator, known as Studio Wrong, has been producing short videos for little over a year, but has a rapidly growing fanbase. Fans have been falling in love with his original characters across his various comedic shorts and series, such as "Stella's Materialism", featuring a professor and robot companion.

"The Bloody Mary" will spotlight what are perhaps his most popular characters, Betty, the paranormal-obsessed punk girl; and Seeka, the demonic deer-girl she summoned in their debut video, "The Collision". As seen in the many comedic, slice-of-life shorts that followed, the two have since become inseparable housemates that don't always get along!

Studio Wrong has recently been joined by animator "YoHey", known for his series "Milky Subway". Like Studio Wrong, YoHey also started out as an indie animator with his viral video "Milky Highway", which similarly featured a pair of girl friends. With the two animators now working together, fans of both look forward to new things to come, and expect "The Bloody Mary" to merely be the start of something great.
