i use blender and zbrush and bridge between them because blender has like no good tools for actually doing anything and multires is for stupid poopoo babies but you wouldnt get it because your too busy reinstalling freebsd >>12896585
Blendr has superior sculpting tools than Zbrush
Can you do cloth simulations during sculpting in zbrush or do any actually half decent hard surface modeling

ok so yes you can and yes you can people who actually do stuff use zmodeller and polygroups and people who actually do cloth sims dont use blender or zbrush because they arent stupid.... they use marvelous designer (does that work on linux?)

Why would I use a bloated third party app and fiddle with importing and exporting endlessly while I can just simulate cloth directly in viewport and position it on my sculpt?
Not to mention that modeling tools in Zbrush are so pathetic it's laughable
You shouldn't use Zbrush at all because it's an absolutely garbage piece of shit and Blender does all of its functionality much better
The only one who uses garbage like that are large companies who got hooked on it many years ago and have invested too much to switch and Blender has been unanimously adopted into the industry a long time ago anyways
