Subahibi is one of the most destructive and damaging pieces of media I have ever seen. This game not only is completely homophobic, but fetishizes lesbian relationships to a very disturbing degree, completely indulges and lavishes in the most depraved of fantasies that I cant even being to fathom were created under the idea of them being appealing in a sexual sense. This game revels in the most disgusting fantasies and shows no remorse or sign that these moments are bad or even questionable in a single sense. One of the most disgusting to me and one of the most personally hurtful things this game does is its portrayal of mental illness in the game, to be frank, one of the characters is ELLUDED to have schizophrenia, suffering from voices, hallucinating figures and having sequences that are incoherent and nonsensical in nature, the portrayal of this is disgusting to say the least. It plays directly into so many awful stereotypes that are so common among schizoaffective people in such a way that it dosen't just feel like the author was careless or due to a lack of knowledge, but as a intentionally hurtful piece of media meant to play into those stereotypes so directly. Absolutely disgusting. Another fact is the rampant homophobia that is present in the story, with one of the most "moral" characters in the game being just straight up homophobic with no resolution to this fact or any character development. He is just homophobic and this fact is portrayed not in a negative light, or even a morally grey light, but more in a positive light. I cant help to think that with the amount of women with male genitalia present in the story (they are not trans either) with them literally being FETISHIZED directly in one part of the story, and the rampant homophobia that is present in the story, I have a feeling that a lot of these elements come from a closeted person in denial about themselves.
