Use linux. Download update from the update manager. It corrupts your drivers. Uninstall your drivers and reinstall them. It's still broken and not even chatgpt knows what to do.

Its why I chose Debian topkek.
I don't like any system that reminds me to update my drivers, or rather when I do want to update its when the system is not working properly.

I can't really help without knowing your kernel version, hardware, and driver versions.

I has a similar problem. It turned out that the driver didn't support my older hardware, and the kernel version didn't support the older drivers.
So I had to install an older kernel, modify the GRUB so it always loads the older kernel version, then install the older drivers through the terminal, then everything worked fine.

The problem is getting stuck on the operating system logo at boot. I can "fix" it with nomodetest, but I have to keep doing manually. Chatgpt basically said I need to use the official drivers for my GPU, but I don't wanna switch to them. I'll probably just switch my OS.
>>12910474
Why not use the official drivers, I had problems with the unofficial drivers as well. Constant freezes.

Install FreeBSD
