after a while people get sick of putting up with you once they realize youll never get better. its a painful process to see people lose faith in you, but it's always mutual in a way. i guess maybe its not supposed to feel like that? no one extends the olive branch for me, there must be something wrong with me. whenever i try to be better its never met half way even, i can only ever stoop to others' low, when someone is above me i give up and hide away. i have nothing left to delude myself into confidence and no future to chase after. i failed life

If you're trying to be better, whatever that might mean to you, I think you can be proud of that and keep doing it for yourself even if other people aren't meeting you half way. If you feel those people never match your effort in the relationship, or whatever the situation is between you, maybe they are taking advantage and you might consider distancing yourself or trying to talk about things if they are important to you. You deserve to be happy and to lead a fulfilling life OP, but that isn't something you earn from others by being nice to them or compliant or whatever. It's something u gotta create for yourself by finding the harmony between who you are and the way you choose to live, at least that's how I think about it. Pls don't give up anon, you have many things uniquely yours to do and make and share and teach and be in this world. I believe it's through doing these things that are most fundamental to ourselves that we come to find our place. I know if you try with your all that you're gonna make it, or at least that you can make a chance for yourself. And if you don't know what future to chase, go out and explore/try new things until you find one!
