Unironically, what's so bad about Reddit? Do people actually hate it for some reason or is it just one of those "us versus them" kinda things?

Go back there
imagine the type of figgot youd have to be to post there regularly maybe on some subs it would be fine

Your fortune: Reply hazy, try again
Go back there, Josh. Reddit is completely unusable nowadays. Reddit now automatically filters out 99% of all posts made. Unless you have a well-aged account with massive amounts of karma, your posts will almost never show up anywhere (and, even then, they still often won't show up). Even if you DON'T get filtered by bots, you will be filtered when an army of basedboys downvote your comment into oblivion and put it beneath 2K heckin' wholesome virtue signaling bot comments, which then makes it look like those propaganda comments are true/common sense/being a decent fucking human being and Reddit NPCs mindlessly repeat the propaganda without any need for botting. And, if your post - against all odds - doesn’t get filtered out by the karma requirement or the army of basedboys, it will still get deleted by a power-tripping moderator for breaking one of the 500 extremely vague rules.

No other site has ever shot themselves in the foot that badly.
it’s all cringe ragebait and misinformation aka FAKE NEWS! >>12959380
so just like 4chan then?

I post on both Reddit and 4chan, that's why I'm asking. They're both good and bad in different ways. There's really something for everyone on reddit with all of the different subreddits, which is nice, although yes, you get a lot of the obvious soyboys. But I don't get the whole "go back" thing. I'm sure a lot of people here post on both, or why you hate reddit at all other than you still think 4Chan is some kind of secret clubhouse

People will downvote you for anything they don't agree with, even if you were just asking a question or suggesting a reasonable alternative.
Karma farming bots are out of control and most subs end up with constant similar posts or bait posts that are barely related to the sub.
Any posts that might actually get engagement are so overcrowded that the chances of actually having a meaningful discussion with someone are very small.
One day I made a post on cozygamers about how hidden object games are great for little old women. Someone posted “what about big old woman?” and then I ended up mass downvoated for fat shaming. Seriously. >>12959423
lmao
