There is an arcade near me that has it
I wish they had beatmania

>>13005275
beatmania is fun too i wish i was better at it
>>13005278
that's so cool that you work at an arcade, do you get to play free games if you work the opening or closing shifts?
>>13005280
How do you play them doe?
There are in your local arcade?
>>13005286
yup! i'm pretty lucky that arcades where i live still have rhythm games in them, much less maintain the latest ones
>>13005283
yes i fix the machines and can play free when i want but im super bad at the rhythm games i need to get gud. im happy u think its cool
>>13005289
Is it expensive for you?
In my arcade they charge extra premium for entrance so I don't go there often

pop,n cherries When I was in the Navy a group of us used to go to the arcade to take turns playing Dance Dance Revolution. We were so cool. >>13005314
you can keep your costs down to a few hundred if you play at home with an arcade style controller and a pirated copy of the game, I really don't get how people can afford to get good at the game in the west when it's like $1-2/attempt in every western arcade.
>>13006365
I used to own a $300 Dance Dance Revolution controller pad... like 20 years ago. Why did DDR fall out of favor in the rythym game world?
>>13006397
cus high level play doesn't even resemble dancing, it's like playing beatmania with your legs, more actually dancing oriented rhythm games have come and gone since then like dance evolution, dancerush stardom and dance a round, all of these rely on the player already largely knowing how to dance already, you can imagine why westerners didn't put up with a game that requires them to move and also how to "freestyle" the inputs without looking like a stiff DDR autist.

Yeah it's nothing like real dancing, but it's still fun and gives you a good workout. Much more fun than just using your fingers.
